In these Terms and Conditions: "LogHouse", "we", "us" and "our" mean Log House SC Ltd trading as LogHouse UK. "You" and "your" mean the person placing an order or signing a sales agreement. "Building" means the timber structure, garden room, cabin or related product described on your Sales Order. "Sales Order" means the written quotation or order form agreed and signed by you and LogHouse. "Practical completion" means erection of the floor, external walls and roof, together with any ordered insulation, plumbing, electrical works and external coating.
By placing an order, requesting a quotation or signing a Sales Order you agree to these Terms and Conditions. A contract is formed when we accept your order in writing and receive your deposit. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of specification, delivery access and site readiness.
- Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation or, if none is stated, 30 days.
- You must be 18 or over and have authority to enter into a binding contract.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order before acceptance.
- Product images and brochures are for guidance; minor variations in timber grain, colour and natural characteristics may occur.
Prices are as stated on your Sales Order and include VAT where shown. If you request changes to specification, quantity, delivery location or date after signing, we may revise the price accordingly. Prices on the website are guide prices; your confirmed Sales Order is the binding price.
Where we offer a price-match promise, it applies only to genuine like-for-like quotations on equivalent specification. Contact our team for current price-match terms and evidence requirements.
Dimensions shown on our website and brochures are normally external measurements unless stated otherwise. Internal finished dimensions may differ where insulation, lining or cladding is applied. It is best to field-measure after installation where precise internal space is critical.
- Lead times are estimates and may vary during busy periods.
- Some models may be made to order; stock availability can change without notice.
- Optional extras and upgrades are listed separately on your Sales Order.
Unless otherwise agreed on your Sales Order, a deposit of 50% of the order value is payable before processing. The deposit is non-refundable once we begin processing your order.
- A further instalment may be due on delivery day as stated on your Sales Order.
- All remaining balances are due on practical completion of the building.
- We may provide a statement of account showing monies received and sums due at completion.
- If you breach the contract, payments on account may be set off against our costs, liabilities and expenses.
- Finance is subject to status and affordability checks via our finance partners where offered.
Delivery dates are estimates only. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from delay, failure to deliver or cancellation where caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
- You must provide safe, adequate access to the delivery site and ensure the site is cleared and prepared.
- Delivery may be kerbside only where site access does not permit further placement.
- If delivery cannot be completed due to poor access, additional charges or redelivery terms may apply.
- You will be notified in advance when your building is ready; please ensure the site is prepared within the agreed timeframe.
- Storage charges may apply if delivery is delayed at your request after readiness notification.
Because many buildings are made to your specification, cancellation rights are limited once production or procurement has begun. Your deposit is non-refundable after we start processing your order.
If you wish to cancel, contact us immediately in writing. Any refund or charge will depend on work completed, materials ordered and costs incurred at the date of cancellation.
Promotional offers, discounts and finance incentives are valid only for the period and on the terms stated in the promotion. They cannot normally be combined unless expressly permitted. We reserve the right to amend or withdraw promotions without notice.
Where professional installation is ordered, our team or approved installers will erect the building in accordance with manufacturer specifications. You must ensure the base or foundation is suitable, level and ready before installation begins.
- Failure to prepare the site for the agreed installation date may result in additional charges or rescheduling.
- We are not liable for damage or injury arising from inadequate site preparation by you or third parties.
- Referrals to third-party contractors are provided as a courtesy only; we are not responsible for their subsequent conduct or workmanship unless expressly agreed in writing.
Bespoke and customised buildings are manufactured to your agreed specification. Once approved, changes may affect price and lead time. Bespoke products are non-returnable except in the case of proven manufacturing defect.
Fully insulated LogHouse builds are covered by a 10-year structural warranty from practical completion where stated on your order. Single-skin log cabins carry a 2-year warranty unless otherwise specified. Flat-pack self-assembly purchases may have different warranty terms.
- Relocation of the building without our written approval voids the warranty.
- You must maintain the building in accordance with our care instructions, including timely treatment and sealing of timber.
- Unauthorised alterations to structure or components are at your risk.
- Warranty claims must be reported promptly with your order reference and supporting details.
We process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law. Information you provide is used to fulfil orders, provide support and, where permitted, send relevant updates. Payment details are handled securely through our payment providers.
